Joleene Naylor has been a self-titled “artist” since she was old enough to hold a crayon. With prizes at both local and state level, she looked ready to begin an exciting career when, for some inexplicable reason, she washed her hands of it all. It was computer graphics which got her back into the art world, and since 2009 she has worked with more than 300 authors to create over 700 book covers, including Mark Coker’s Secrets to E-Book Publishing Success and The 10 Minute PR Checklist. Not limited to book cover design, she has also provided illustrations for newspapers and books, and created web banners, bookmarks, business cards, movie posters, paper dolls, and even Ham radio QSL cards.
When she’s not working on one of her many artistic pursuits, she is either playing with her camera (http://www.flickr.com/photos/pandora_6666) or writing the dark paranormal series Amaranthine (http://www.joleenenaylor.com/books/books.php). In what little time is left she watches anime and updates her blogs, all from a crooked Victorian house in Villisca, Iowa. Between her husband and her pets, she is never lonely, and should she ever disappear one might look for her on a beach in Tahiti, sipping a tropical drink and wearing a disguise.
